Design Contest
1. Theme:
Youth-Bridge Logo Design Contest calls for the creation of a logo
to serve as our emblem.
Our mission as a connection between youth in China and those
overseas should be embodied.
The Logo will be used in Youth-Bridge websites, magazines,
printed matters, publications, and functions (including camps,
competitions, etc). This list is not exhaustive.
2. Criteria:
- The logo must be identifiable to and embody the Youth Bridge
Mission.
Youth Bridge mission statement: Our mission is to promote the
personal growth and development of Chinese youths around the
world via the exchange of ideas, experience, and advice among
children and parents, as well as through organized events and
activities. YOUTH-BRIDGE is an open forum for discussions that
will enrich the lives of Chinese youths across the globe. -
The logo must show artistry and creativity. The design will
be judged on its originality, style and color/shading.
3. Guidance:

The logo can be drawn with hands or with the aids of a
computer.

Please submit as a picture file of 300 pixels x 300 pixels,
in a format of .jpg, gif, or other commonly used picture
formats.

The logo must be of original work and never published.

It is recommended that the participant should write a brief
introduction about the ideas and creation of the design.
4. Participation
Please email your work to
info@youth-bridge.org
Please include participant's name (either full name or only first
name), age and email.
Including your street address is recommended, but not required.
However if you win the prize, we will notify you with an email, and
discuss how we can deliver the prize.
5. Prize
Youth-Bridge will select candidate logo designs and upload them to
Youth-Bridge website. An online poll will be available for voting
by registered Youth-Bridge members.
Youth-Bridge will honor first place, second place and third
place, with according prizes and certificates.
The final Youth-Bridge Logo will be chosen from the above three
winners, determined by a committee.
6. Timeline
Deadline of submission: September 1st, 2006
Announcement of winners: October - November, 2006
7. Notes
The designer certifies that the logo does not infringe upon the
rights of any third party and that it does not violate any
copyright.

实用性.Logo将印于Youth-Bridge网站,杂志,纪念品,奖品,印刷品,等等相关物品上.鉴于此,我们鼓励线条清晰,画面醒目的作品.
3. 格式要求:
- 手绘或者电脑设计均可.请使用电子文件递交,如.jpg, .gif等.
- 大小:300 pixels x 300 pixels
- 参赛作品必须是原创作品,以未曾公开发表为限
- 鼓励作者提供一定的文字说明及创意理念
4. 递交方法:
请将作品email到
info@youth-bridge.org
递交时请填写制作者的姓名(可以只有first name),年龄,email.
欢迎填写联系地址,以便向得奖者发送奖品纪念.
联系地址亦可省略.如果获奖,Youth-Bridge将email通知,并索取发放奖品的方式
5. 评定方法:
奖品分为一,二,三等,各一名.最终选定使用的Logo将由Youth-Bridge协会从这三件获奖作品中挑选产生.Youth-Bridge将通过初选,把进入决赛参赛作品发表在网页上,届时Youth-Bridge注册会员将投票选举最佳作品.获奖者将颁发奖励和证书.Youth-Bridge保留最终决策权.

公布日期：2006年10－11月
7. 说明

所有参赛作品必须为原创作品.参赛者在呈交作品前需了解其作品并无触犯现有的设计注册及版权专利条例.Youth-Bridge对参赛作品之可能违反版权、专利或因其後宣传所产生的指控概不负责。如出现任何有关的指控、诉讼，参赛者须对此等事项及可能连带的法律责任负责。

Youth-Bridge对有关作品颁发的奖项保留撤消或收回的权利.Youth-Bridge保留最终决策权.

The idea of my logo is that the Youth Bridge is making China and the US hold
hands. This is based on Michelangelos' painting on the Sistine Chapel ceiling.
